Section 22
Use of funds
:(1) The committee may spend the amount of funds on the following activities:-
(a) To procure vaccines and conduct the vaccination programme,
(b) If it is necessary to purchase vaccines immediately due to natural disasters or epidemics, to conduct vaccination programs by purchasing such vaccines (c) To study and research matters related to the development or expansion of the vaccination program,
(d) To invest in the production of such vaccine if it is found to be cost-effective to produce the vaccine used in the vaccination program within the country in partnership with the private sector,
(e) To conduct administrative work including conducting committee meetings.
(2) The committee shall take the approval of the Ministry while spending the amount of the fund on the activities as per clauses (a), (b) and (d) of sub-section (1).
